We are receiving a large number of telephone enquiries regarding the above.
At the present time, frontline health or social care workers can book a booster dose via the National Booking System, if it has been at least six months since the second dose of the vaccine.
All other patients should wait to be contacted by the NHS before attempting to book a booster dose. It is important that you do not contact the NHS before you receive this notification.
Once you have been notified, you will be able to book a slot at a local venue using the National Booking System.
All housebound patients who had their first and second dose of Covid vaccination at home will be contacted in due course to arrange for a booster dose to be given at home also.
Please note that if you have had a positive PCR test, you will have to wait four weeks from the date you had the test before booking a booster dose.
Please refer to www.nhs.uk coronavirus section or call 119 for up-to-date information.
