Greensand Surgery work closely with our patients to constantly review and improve our services, one of the ways we do this is through the Patient Participation Group, meeting bi-monthly, (roughly four or five PPG meetings a year, which are held at the Surgery or Zoom.) The meetings are currently 18:00pm – 19:30pm, enabling a GP to attend after surgery.

The PPG plays an important role in supporting the practice through activities such as:

• Providing valuable feedback on the patient experience of care at Greensand Surgery.
• Organising patient surveys and suggestion boxes.
• Promoting the use of the check-in touch screens.
• Organising and supporting patient educational evenings.
• Developing, and contributing to a patient newsletter.
• Promoting and supporting the use of the NHS App.
• Supporting the practice team during flu vaccination clinics.
